Mahleea Werline was born on October 6, 2005. She trains at Aftershock Gymnastics in California. She will graduate from high school in 2023.

In the fall of 2011, Mahleea competed level four. She finished in the top twenty at the East Sectional meet. In 2012, she competed at the State Championships. Due to the level change, she competed level three in the fall of 2013. She finished in the top fifteen at the State Championships, including second place on vault and floor. Mahleea compete level four in the fall of 2014. She placed in the top ten at the East Sectional meet. She placed third on bars and tenth all-around at the State Championships.

Mahleea competed as a level six at the 2015 Arizona Grand Invitational where she won floor. She later moved up to level seven. She won bars at the AOGC Invitational and placed second on beam at the California Classic. She won bars at the State Championships. At the Regional Championships, she placed first on bars, second on floor and seventh all-around. She qualified to National TOPs Testing. Mahleea competed level eight in 2016. She finished first on bars and floor at the Palm Springs Cup. She placed second on beam and third on floor at the Brestyan’s Las Vegas meet. She placed first on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, Mahleea placed third on vault, second on beam and second on floor.

Mahleea competed level nine in 2017. She won floor at the Palm Springs Cup. She placed third on floor at the California Classic. She finished third on vault and first on floor at the Heart of a Champion Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished fourth on vault and third on floor. She concluded her season at Regionals by placing tenth all-around. She continued to participate in developmental elite training camps throughout the year.
