Trinity Wood was born on July 1, 2010. She trains at Capital Gymnastics National Training Center in Virginia. She will graduate from high school in 2028,

Trinity began competing at Capital in 2019 as a level four. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. She competed level five in 2020. She jumped up to level eight in 2021. She won all five gold medals at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished third all-around. Trinity moved up to level nine in 2022. She finished second on vault and bars at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished third all-around. She placed third on vault, third on bars, first on floor and sixth all-around at Easterns. She finished the season as a Hopes elite. She finished fifth at the Hopes Championships.

Trinity competed level ten in 2023. She won beam and floor at the State Championships. She finished first on bars and the all-around at Regionals. She placed third all-around and fourth on floor at Dev Nationals. She then moved up to junior international elite. She competed at the American and US Classic. Trinity continued competing as a junior in 2024. She finished in the top ten at the US Classic. In 2025, Trinity finished fifth all-around at the Winter Cup to make the junior national team. She competed at the International Gymnix meet in Canada, earning a Team Silver medal and placing 4th on beam. She placed fifth all-around at the US Championships. She concluded her season at the Combs la Ville International Tournament, bringing home a Team Silver medal and placing 4th on Bars
