Jacqueline Tunney was born on September 14, 2004. She trains at Rebound in New Jersey. She will graduate from high school in 2023.

Jacqueline began competing as a level three in 2012. She moved up to level four for the 2013 season. She competed the new level four in 2014. She competed a few meets as a level five before finishing the 2015 season as a level six. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. As a level seven during the 2015-2016 season, Jacqueline placed third on bars and sixth all-around at the State Championships.

Jacqueline moved up to level nine for the 2017 season. She finished fourth all-around at the Winterbowl and Twilight Knight meet. She finished in the top twenty at the State and Regional Championships. She placed second on beam at Regionals. She earned her hopes elite compulsory score. Jacqueline moved up to level ten in 2018. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships and top fifteen at Regionals. She earned her junior international elite compulsory score. Jacqueline missed most of the 2018-2019 season due to injury. She returned in the shortened 2020 season to win beam at the Excalibur Cup. She qualified for the State Championships. In 2021, Jacqueline finished first on floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She placed third all-around at Regionals. She competed on bars at JO Nationals. In 2022, she placed third all-around and first on bars at the Star Struck Invitational. She finished second all-around at the WOGA Classic. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Excalibur Cup. She finished fifth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won vault and the all-around with a 38.150. She competed at JO Nationals.
