Ashley Ruedy was born on March 2, 2006. She trains at Gymnastics Olympica in California. She will graduate from high school in 2024.

Ashley began competing level three in the fall of 2013. She placed in the top fifteen at the State Championships. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the 2014 State Championships. Ashley competed three level four meets in the spring of 2015. Ashley then moved up to level five. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the 2016 State Championships. She competed level seven in 2017. She won the all-around at two invitationals. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She made the SoCal State Team for Regionals where she placed third on beam.

Ashley moved up to level eight in 2018. She placed in the top three all-around at three invitationals. At Regionals, she won bars and the all-around! She began competing level nine in 2019. She won the all-around at the LA Classic. She finished in the top fifteen at the State Championships. She placed eighth all-around at Regionals. She was the first alternate for Westerns. In 2020, she won vault, beam and the all-around at the LA Classic. She won beam at the all-around at the Gliders Invitational. She won bars at the Excalibur Cup. The season was cut short due to covid. She moved up to level ten in 2021. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished in the top fifteen at Regionals. She finished in the top twenty at Regionals in 2022. Ashley placed tenth all-around at Regionals in 2023.
