Megan Ray was born on May 28, 2003. She trains at Gym-Max in California. She will graduate from high school in 2021.

In the fall of 2011, Megan competed level four. She finished first on floor at both the West Sectional meet and State Championships. As a level five in 2012, she placed fourth all-around at the State Championships. She competed the new level five in 2013, placing first on vault and second all-around at the State Championships. Megan immediately moved up to level seven in 2013. She won floor and the all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational At the San Diego Classic, she won vault, floor and the all-around. She placed first on bars and floor at the Gliders Invitational. Megan won vault at the AOGC Invitational. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Heart of a Champion Invitational. She finished first on vault and floor at the California Classic. Megan placed first on vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. As a member of the state team, she won vault, floor and the all-around at Regionals.

Megan competed level eight in 2015. She won floor at the Team OC Classic. She placed first on vault and floor at the Brestyan Las Vegas meet. At the AOGC Invitational, she won floor and the all-around. Megan placed first on floor at the Corona Open. At the State Championships, she placed second on floor. Megan placed second on beam and fourth all-around at Regionals. Megan mobilized out of level nine at the 2016 San Diego Classic, placing first on floor and second all-around. She then moved up to level ten. She placed first on beam and third all-around at the AOGC Invitational. Megan placed third on beam at the State Championships. She placed in the top twenty at Regionals.
