Lorrayne Gomez was born on September 26, 2006. She trains at South Coast in California. She will graduate from high school in 2024.
Lorrayne began competing as a level three in 2012. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. In 2014, she won floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed level four in 2015. She finished in the top fifteen at the State Championships. In 2016, she placed in the top ten. Lorrayne competed level five in the fall of 2017. She finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level six for the spring 2018 season. She won floor at the State Championships. She finished fourth all-around at Regionals. As a level seven in 2019, she finished in the top ten at the State and Regional Championships.
Lorrayne moved up to level eight for the abbreviated 2020 season. She won the all-around at the Great Destinations meet and Pacific Classic. She competed level nine in 2022. She finished second all-around at the Long Beach Open and California Classic. At the State Championships, she finished second on vault, floor and the all-around. Lorrayne placed fourth on vault and second on floor at Regionals. She finished first on vault, third on bars and fifth on floor at Westerns.
As a level ten in 2023, Lorrayne placed second on beam at the State Championships with a 9.425.
