Julia Toland was born on April 8, 2005. She trains at Metro South in Massachusetts. She will graduate from high school in 2023.

Julia began competing as a level four in 2013. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to the new level four for the 2014 season. She finished fin the top ten all-around at the State Championships. Julia competed level five in 2015. She finished fin the top ten all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level seven for the 2015-2016 season. She finished second on vault at the State Championships. As a level eight in 2017, she finished in the top ten all-around at the State Championships. She began competing level nine in 2018. She placed in the top ten all-around at the State Championships. In 2019, she finished in the top ten at the State and Regional Championships.

Julia moved up to level ten for the 2019-2020 season. She qualified for the state championships. In 2021, she competed at one invitational. She competed on beam at several invitationals in 2022.
