Julia Meza was born on January 12, 2007. She trains at J&R in Texas. She will graduate from high school in 2025.

Julia competed level three in 2014. She finished in the top ten at the South State Championships. She placed first on bars and second all-around at the Carol Hillenburg State Invitational. She moved up to level four in 2015. She competed at the North State Championships. As a level five in 2016, she finished in the top ten at the State Championships. Julia began competing level six a few months later in 2017. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. Julia had an excellent season in 2018 as a level seven. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. She placed eleventh all-around at Regionals.

Julia moved up to level eight in 2019. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships and top twenty at Regionals. Julia moved up to level nine for the shortened 2020 season. She placed third on floor at the Alamo Classic. She finished fourth all-around at the Presidential Classic. She finished fourth on vault at the Yellow Rose Invitational. In 2021, Julia finished in the top fifteen at Regionals. She placed second on floor at the 2022 Houston National Invitational and third on floor at the Alamo Classic. She did not compete in 2023.
