Bailey Hirota was born on October 18, 2002. She trained at American Gymnastics Academy in Long Beach through the 2015 State Championships. She then moved to Gym-Max. She will graduate from high school in 2020.
Bailey began competing in the fall of 2009 as a level four. She finished first on vault at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in 2010. AsIn 2011, she finished second all-around at West Sectionals and fourth all-around at the State Championships. Bailey competed level six in the fall of 2012. She immediately moved up to level seven for the spring 2013 season. She placed second on vault at the AOGC Invitational and Valley of the Sun Challenge. She competed at the State Championships. Bailey competed in one meet as a level eight in 2014.
Bailey returned to competition in 2015 as a level nine. She finished fourth on bars at the Vegas Gold Cup. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. She qualified for Regionals but did not compete due to a gym change. Bailey did not compete in 2016 or 2017. In 2018, Bailey competed as a bars and beam specialist at invitationals. She competed on vault and bars at the State Championships and vault at Regionals. Bailey competed on bars and beam at several invitational in 2019. She placed second on both events at the World Elite Classic. She placed second on bars at the Corona Open.
