Kayla DeVeau was born on May 11, 2002. She trains at Infiniti Elite in New York. She will graduate from high school in 2020.

As a level five in 2012, Kayla finished fourth all-around at the Early Season State Championships. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the 2013 Early Season State Championships as a level six. She competed level seven in 2014, finishing second all-around at the State Championships. In 2015, Kayla competed level eight. She finished first on floor and in the all-around at the Brestyans Invitational. She finished first on beam at the Beach Party meet. She placed third all-around at the State and Regional Championships.

During her level nine season in 2016, Kayla finished second on bars at the Brestyans invitational. She won bars at the Heartland Spring Classic. At the State Championships, she placed first on bars and the all-around. She won the all-around title at Regionals. She finished her season at Easterns. Kayla moved up to level ten for the 2016-2017 season. She finished third all-around at the Big Apple Holiday Classic. She placed in the top twenty at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished third on beam and fifth all-around. She concluded her season at JO Nationals. In 2018, Kayla finished third all-around at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. She won bars and beam at the Kindlemann Winter Classic. She finished ninth all-around at the State and Regional Championships.

In 2019, Kayla finished fourth all-around at the Brestyans Invitational and Buckeye Classic. She won vault, beam and the all-around at the Kindelmann Winter Classic. She placed second on bars at the Excalibur Cup. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. She placed second on beam at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.
