Nevaeh DeSouza was born on April 28, 2001. She trained at Aerials Gymnastics in Vacaville, California, through the 2010 season. She then moved to Dream Xtreme Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2019.

In the fall of 2007, Nevaeh competed level four. She placed third on vault at the American pride Invitational. She won floor at the Red Line 500. At the Tumble in the Jungle, she placed second on vault. Nevaeh won beam and the all-around at the Hollywood Invitational. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. Nevaeh moved up to level five in 2008. She finished fourth all-around at the Tumble in the Jungle meet. She placed first on vault and beam at the Zone Championships. She finished in the top five at the State Championships. Nevaeh competed one level six meet in the fall of 2009, winning all five gold medals at the American Pride Invitational.

Nevaeh competed level seven in 2010. She finished third on beam at the Delta Classic. She placed second on beam at the Wine Country Classic. At the Battle in Seattle, she won beam, floor and the all-around. Nevaeh placed second all-around at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She competed at the State Championships. In 2011, Nevaeh competed level eight. She finished fourth all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. She placed first on vault, bars and the all-around at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She won beam at the Golden State Classic. At the State Championships, she placed third on beam. Nevaeh won the all-around title at Regionals!

Nevaeh competed level nine in 2012. She finished fourth all-around at the Black Tie Invitational. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the Golden State Classic. At the State Championships, she placed first on beam and second all-around. Nevaeh placed second on beam and fourth all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed sixth on beam and floor. She finished 12th all-around. She began competing level ten in 2013. She finished fourth all-around at the Team OC Classic. She placed third all-around at the Winter Invitational. Nevaeh finished second on vault at the Brestyans Las Vegas meet. At the Delta Classic, she finished fourth all-around. Nevaeh finished fourth all-around and first on beam at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second on beam and tenth all-around. She placed third on beam, fifth on floor and third all-around at the JO National Invitational Tournament.

In 2014, she won vault and bars at the Flips USA Invitational. She placed fourth all-around at the Delta Classic. She placed second all-around at the Charity Choice Invitational. She finished first on vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Great West Gym Fest. She finished second on vault at the Black Tie Invitational. She qualified to hopes at the California Classic. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. She placed seventh all-around at Regionals. She placed ninth on vault at JO Nationals She competed at the US Challenge where she placed seventh. Nevaeh won vault, bars and the all-around at the 2015 Lady Luck Invitational. She won vault at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the Black Tie Invitational, she won vault and beam. She placed first on bars and beam at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. She placed second all-around at Regionals. She finished ninth on vault, fifth on beam, fourth on floor and third all-around at JO Nationals.

Nevaeh finished second on floor at the 2016 Atlanta Crown Invitational. She won the all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. She placed first on vault and beam at the Roseville Invitational. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She placed eighth all-around in the junior division at the Nastia Liukin Cup. She placed first on vault and second all-around at the State Championships. She placed fourth all-around at Regionals. She finished ninth on vault, fifth on beam, fourth on floor and third all-around at JO Nationals.
