Mia Cusimano was born on March 13, 2013. She trains at North County Carlsbad in California. She will graduate from high school in 2031.

Mia began competing as an xcel bronze in 2021. She moved up to excel gold in 2022. She finished fifth all-around at the State and Regional Championships. She transitioned to level five in the fall, competing at the State Championships. She immediately competed level six in the spring 2023 season. She won floor at Regionals. As a level seven in 2024, Mia finished second on floor at the State Championships. She finished first on beam third on floor and third all-around at Regionals. Mia competed level eight in 2025. She placed third on floor at Regionals. Mia reached level nine in 2026. She placed third on floor at the State Championships. She finished tenth all-around at Regionals.
