Chandler Buntin was born on June 26, 2005. She trained at River City Gymnastics in Tennessee through the spring 2013 season. She then moved to Gymstars. She returned to River City for the 2018 season. She followed her coach to Conxion in Mississippi for the 2020 season. She will graduate from high school in 2023.

Chandler began competing as a xcel silver in 2013. She finished in the top three all-around at the Ozone Invitational, Edgewater Classic, St. Louis Classic and Nashville Nights meet. At the State Championships, she placed first on beam and second all-around. Chandler moved up to xcel gold in 2014. She won the all-around at the Magnitude 10.0 Invitational, Crimson Classic and Xtreme Invitational. She finished second all-around at the Aloha From Memphis Invitational and Nashville Nights meet. At the State Championships, she finished first on vault, second on floor and fifth all-around.

Chandler entered the JO program as a level seven in 2015. She finished first on bars and second all-around at the Ozone Invitational. She won vault and placed second all-around at the Nashville Nights meet. At the State Championships, she placed first on floor and third all-around. She finished eighth all-around at Regionals. Chandler skipped level eight and competed level nine in 2016. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Aloha From Memphis meet. She placed third all-around at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She placed fourth all-around at the Nashville Nights meet. She finished first on bars, third on floor and fifth all-around at the State Championships. She concluded her season at Regionals.

Chandler moved up to level ten in 2017. She won floor at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She finished fourth on floor at the Elevate the Stage meet. At the Aloha From Memphis meet, she finished fourth on vault and third on floor. Chandler placed fourth on vault and third on bars at the Tim Rand Invitational. She finished second on bars at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. In 2018, she tested hopes elite at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. In 2019, Chandler finished first on beam at the Biles Invitational. She finished third on beam and tenth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. During the 2020 covid season, Chandler won all five gold medals at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. She placed second on beam at the Metroplex Challenge. She won bars and the all-around at the Nashville Nights meet. She placed third all-around at the Courtney Kupets Pink Invitational. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Purple and Gold meet.

In 2021, Chandler finished third on floor at the Nashville Nights meet. She placed second on vault and first on floor at the Gasparilla Classic. She placed second on beam at the Elevate the Statement. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She placed third on vault at Regionals. She concluded her season at JO Nationals. She did not compete in 2022.
