Brooke Johnson was born on November 3, 1999. She trained at Docksiders through the 2008 season. She moved to 1st Class Gymnastics. In February of 2009, she began training at Silver Stars Gymnastics. Brooke began training at Win-Win Gymnastics after the 2010 season. She began training at Lakewood Ranch Gymnastics in Florida in the fall of 2013. She will graduate from high school in 2017.

In 2008, Brooke competed level four. She finished eighth all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in 2009. She placed third all-around at the Harford Trophy meet. At the State Championships, she placed second on vault and fifth all-around. Brooke skipped level six and competed level seven in 2010. She finished second all-around at the Cancun Classic. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Sting meet. She finished fourth on bars and eighth all-around at the State Championships. In 2011, she represented Team Maryland at the National Judges Cup where she placed first on floor and second all-around. Brooke won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Maryland Classic. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the East Coast Classic, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. Brooke won bars at the Capital Cup and Pink Invitational. She won bars and floor at the Harford Trophy meet. At the State Championships, Brooke won bars, beam, floor and the all-around.

Brooke mobilized out of level eight and competed level nine in 2012. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Maryland Classic. She won vault at the Pink Invitational. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. She finished sixth all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed third on vault, sixth on beam and second all-around! Brooke began competing level ten in 2013. She finished fifth all-around at the Maryland Classic. She finished third on bars at the Capital Cup. Brooke won bars and beam at the Frederick Classic. She finished third on bars and fifth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.

In 2014, Brooke finished fourth in the all-around at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She placed third all-around at the Tiger Paw Classic. She placed third in the all-around at the Gasparilla Classic. At the Tim Rand Invitational, she placed fifth in the all-around. At the State Championships, she placed fifth all-around. At the Region 8 Championships, Brooke finished ninth all-around. She was the first alternate for the Region 8 Team. She qualified to the Junior Olympic National Invitational Tournament in Jackson, MS where she placed 15th all-around. In 2015, Brooke finished fourth all-around at the San Francisco Classic and Sand Dollar Invitational. She also competed on two events at the Gasparilla Classic. She had elbow surgery in March 2015 and missed the rest of the season. In 2016, Brooke finished fourth on beam at the Tampa Bay Classic. She placed third on bars and second on beam at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She competed on bars only at the State Championships.
